Work with a growing team We are looking for an all-round-experienced aluminium fabricator to join our team manufacturing aluminium windows and doors which is supplied across the Canterbury region and the South Island. This hands-on, fast-paced factory role covers residential and commercial projects and includes manufacturing, assembling and glazing aluminium joinery. Full time permanent position. 40 hours per week. Additional hours when they arise. Monday to Friday – 7:30am-4:00pm. Hourly rate: $27-$32. Key Responsibilities of Manufacturing will include, but is not limited to: • Manufacture and assemble aluminium joinery, aligning parts, and associated items for windows and doors. • Independently read manuals. • Glaze aluminium joinery – placing glass and wedging off. • Cut aluminium and timber using saws, punching, drilling, and measuring. • Clean units after assembly and prepare for delivery. • Load and unload deliveries of windows and doors in perfect condition. • Install and glaze units on-site as required. • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately. • Deliver finished goods to sites. • Clean work areas, machines, facilities, and vehicles as required. • Onsite Maintenance. • Keep Amenities clean at all times. About You: • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. • Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting. • Trustworthy and punctual. • Willingness to learn and follow instructions. • An energetic, "can-do" and "hungry" attitude. • Exceptional attention to detail. • A friendly, professional manner. • Alignment with company values. • Ability to work independently and show initiative. • A positive sense of humour. • Experience with manufacturing machinery and tools is beneficial. • A valid New Zealand driver's license is essential.
