We're working with a leading name in the commercial space who deliver high-end residential and large-scale commercial projects. They're looking for a Senior Draughtsperson to join their growing team in Te Rapa, Hamilton. This is an in-office role with some flexibility and will suit someone confident leading projects and providing technical expertise from day one. **The role** * Produce detailed technical and production-ready shop drawings * Lead drafting projects from concept through to completion, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. * Act as the technical go-to for shop drawing projects, assisting fabricators and architects with queries. * Mentor and support other drafters across the business. * Ensure all drawings comply with current standards and best practice. * Manage and track project progress using Smartsheet (training provided). **About you** * Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior drafting role. * Solid background in facade and curtain wall detailing. * Strong AutoCAD skills (essential). * Familiarity with 3D CAD tools such as SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, or Revit (advantageous). * Skilled at interpreting architectural and structural drawings. * Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. * National Diploma in Architectural Technology or equivalent qualification/experience. * Knowledge of NZ Building Code and relevant industry standards (advantageous). * Previous experience in the window and door industry, including aluminium systems and weather-tightness design, is highly regarded. **What's on offer** This is a chance to be part of a busy and growing commercial team, leading significant projects and adding your technical expertise to work that makes a real impact. **Apply now** If this sounds like the right move for you, flick through your resume to Avni at **avni.jain@persolapac.com**
