An exciting opportunity to join a well-established and respected business in Gisborne! We are looking for a motivated and multi skilled Admin who can provide support at the weighbridge. We are seeking an individual that enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and isn't afraid of a challenge.

The Role:
This is a varied position, which requires someone who could assist in the office, covering general administrative duties as well as providing support at the weighbridge . You'll be part of a supportive team, helping transfer a range of waste materials from trucks to storage tanks to ensure smooth operations.
Key responsibilities include:
* General office duties, answering phone and emails and general enquiries.
* Data entry and record keeping, assisting with general office housekeeping.
* Operating weighbridge systems, recording waste and recycling loads accurately
* Checking customer details, vehicle registrations, and load types
* Ensuring compliance with site rules, health & safety, and environmental requirements
* Completing basic admin tasks to support site operations

Hours & Pay:
* Monday to Friday
* $26.00+ based on experience
About You:
* Physically fit with a strong health & safety focus
* Team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
* Organised and reliable, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
* Comfortable using computer systems, including weighbridge software (or willing to learn)
* Clear communication skills to work effectively with drivers, customers, and site staff
* Punctual, hardworking, and committed
Requirements:
* Must pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test
* Must have a clear Ministry of Justice check
* Must be legally eligible to work in New Zealand
