Responsibilities include: * Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts and annual financial statements; ensuring compliance with accounting standards. * Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with management to create budgets, track performance, and provide recommendations. * Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. * Client Interaction: Build strong relationships with respective Managers and Administrators. * Tax Compliance: Preparation and filing of GST, FBT and Income Tax returns, also preparation and management of Research and Development tax credits. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Management Accountant to ensure the continuity of sound financial processes, analysis, and reporting across our organisation. This role is full-time, 40 hours per week based in our Wendonside modern office in a rural setting. Flexibility is negotiable for the right applicant. The successful applicant will hold relevant accounting qualifications and/or have management accounting experience that enables them to deliver high-quality financial outputs. Ideally, the successful candidate will have three or more years of full-time accounting experience; however, recent graduates with strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn will also be considered. The role will be focused on working with management and leadership around financial processes. The role is supported by our office team of accounts payable/receivable, Administration, Human Resources and Senior Management personnel. From time to time there will also be interesting project work which will require project specific analysis and report preparation.
