He can get strong around food, does take someone confident to drench him, and can have issues around loading, especially when he hasn’t been loaded for a while. This is all managed with ongoing training. Due to this, he will need to go to a home with previous horse experience. \r\n\r\n Scooby was an A+ student during his training, however, it was determined once he started taking riders that he wasn’t the right fit for the Riding for the Disabled Association. He is responsive, has rhythmical, balanced paces and is easy to get working in a frame. Mainly a trekking pony in his previous home, but he has been schooled in basic dressage movements. \r\n\r\n Hadleigh is not the most confident jumper. He will pop over small jumps, but I wouldn't say it's his forte. \r\n\r\n Good to catch, float, drench and stand for the farrier. \r\n\r\n Hadleigh can be sensitive to unrestricted rich pasture, impacting both his gut and behaviour. This has been easily managed with limited grazing and a decent probiotic. \r\n\r\n Despite Hadleigh having a mostly placid nature, he is not suited to a beginner home.
