About The Role: This isn’t your average 9-to-5 and that’s exactly the point! As a Field Operator, you’ll be on the front line of large-scale pest control across some of New Zealand’s most rugged and iconic landscapes. You’ll use trapping and toxin deployment methods to target pests like ungulates, wallabies, and possums. In return, you’ll gain hands-on experience, work toward industry qualifications, and be part of a team that values grit, reliability, and getting the job done. Location Details: Based on the West Coast of the South Island, you’ll get to explore New Zealand’s wildest back country, from coastal plains to remote mountain bush. Expect to be away Monday to Friday, with accommodation and meals covered. Occasionally, you may be away longer (up to 10 days), but you’ll be rewarded with incredible experiences and a tight-knit team vibe. The role: As a Field Operator, you’ll take part in large-scale pest control projects in some of New Zealand’s most remote and iconic landscapes, using trapping and toxin deployment methods.
