You’ll work across the full development lifecycle—translating business needs into technical outcomes writing high-quality code reviewing peer work troubleshooting issues and continuously improving how we build and ship software. You’ll thrive in a non-hierarchical “roll up your sleeves” environment influencing outcomes while building strong partnerships with technology leaders operating business units and external vendors. Location: Tauranga Status: Full-Time Permanent Position Monday - Friday Specific Responsibilities - Design develop and maintain software applications and features - Translate business requirements into technical specifications - Write clean efficient well-documented code aligned to best practice - Troubleshoot and debug issues improve performance and remove bottlenecks - Collaborate with teams to escalate/resolve complex issues quickly - Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders Who we're after: - Relevant degree in IT plus 5 years experience minimum - Strong knowledge of programming languages design patterns and development tools - Excellent problem-solving skills (break down complex problems into workable solutions) - Must be based in Tauranga area About Us: Qube Ports NZ is a leading nationwide service provider offering a comprehensive range of cargo logistics stevedoring marshalling transportation warehousing and IT solutions.
