We’re on the hunt for a skilled Fitter/Welder with a solid mechanical background to join a tight-knit, hardworking, and proactive team that takes the lead on every task. Enjoy a great mix of hands-on fabrication in the workshop and dynamic onsite installation work. You’ll also have the support of a Trade Assistant—and for the right person, this role will transition into a permanent position.  What You’ll Be Doing * Fabricating and welding structural steel, pipework, and mechanical components * Installing mechanical systems and structural assemblies onsite * Reading and interpreting engineering & fabrication drawings * Working safely on active sites and following all procedures * Guiding and supporting a Trade Assistant when required What We’re Looking For: * Experienced Fitter/Welder with good mechanical skills * Confident with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding * Experience with structural steel and piping * Available to start in January * Good communicator on site * Has own basic hand tools * Can pass a drug test and has a clean criminal record * Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused * Bonus (not essential): Site Safe, Working at Heights, EWP Certification Why You’ll Love This Role: * $35-$38 per hour, based on experience * Temp-to-permanent pathway * Variety every day — no two days are the same How to Apply: Click APPLY NOW or email krisma.andres@onestaff.co.nz and we’ll get you started!
