We are looking for a Machine Operator for a variety of shift patterns with some potential for overtime. You will be responsible for monitoring machine output, ensuring the products meet client specifications and all products are completed to a high standard of quality. If you do not have experience in machine operating in a manufacturing environment, full training will be provided. This role does require some heavy lifting so it is required that you are physically fit. You will attend a full site induction as well as full training on SOPs and you will have the opportunity to progress through the levels - this is encouraged. The main duties include: * Maintain continuous operation of the range of production machinery * Ensure batch weight inputs are correct and match the job requirements * Maintain optimum machine output in line with the production plan * All scrap is monitored and minimised where possible * Strive to upskill and nominate areas for potential improvement * Conduct quality checks on the finished product * Conduct daily, weekly and monthly Master Cleaning Schedule Skills & Requirements * Demonstrate good numeracy and literacy skills; as well as good mechanical understanding * Reliable transport to get yourself to and from work * Previous experience operating machinery in a factory environment is advantageous * No criminal history * Possess a keen and positive attitude and can easily adapt and learn new systems * Must be a team player * Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and have no criminal convictions * Thorough with good attention to detail * Physically fit and able to do some heavy lifting How to Apply Click 'APPLY' or contact Katie France if you have any questions that are not covered in this job ad.
