Excavator Operator – Queenstown Join a respected civil contractor operating across some of the most scenic projects in Queenstown. We’re seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to take the controls of a CAT 325 (27T) and deliver high-quality work on a range of civil construction projects. About the Role You’ll be operating modern machinery on earthworks and infrastructure projects, with responsibility for maintaining high standards of production and accuracy. The role suits an operator who takes pride in their finishing skills, can use Trimble GPS, and is confident running smaller sites when needed. Skills & Experience - Proven experience in civil construction - Proficient with Trimble GPS and trimming works - Competent in reading plans and maintaining accuracy - Ability to manage sections or small crews on site - Strong focus on safety and reliability What’s On Offer - $40–$45 per hour, depending on experience - Full-time, ongoing work in Queenstown - High-spec machinery and a supportive team culture - A variety of projects in one of New Zealand’s most scenic locations Additional Information Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol and Ministry of Justice checks apply.
