Taggart Earthmoving Ltd is a family-owned business that started in 1953 and have been part of many large projects in and around Canterbury and the wider South Island. We specialise in large scale earthworks projects, site works, drainage, demolition, heavy haulage and shingle processing and sales. We are looking for an experienced machine operators to join our Earthworks team; to be successful in this role, you will ideally have the following: • NZDL Class 1,2 and 4 with WTR Endorsement • High personal standards and a positive attitude towards health and safety and the environment • Have 2-3 years’ experience operating earthmoving machinery, specifically graders, scrapers, dozers, dump trucks, and rollers • Passion for the industry and mentoring new trainees • Technical ability to read and interpret plans and specifications • Excellent communication skills; and • A can-do attitude.
