Be a reliable problem-solver who can work independently Forklift Operator – Rotorua Forest Haulage Rotorua Forest Haulage is on the lookout for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our supportive team at a local sawmill in Taupo. We operate a fleet of mobile plant machinery, including 12 to 14-tonne forklifts, and are proud to be part of New Zealand’s thriving forestry sector. Your primary responsibility will be to: * Load timber packets from the sawmill outfeed * Transfer timber onto kiln trolleys for drying * Ensure precision and care to minimise product damage * Attention to detail is crucial in this role, as the quality of the timber must be preserved throughout the process. What We’re Looking For: We ideally seek an experienced forklift operator, but we’re also open to training the right candidate who is mechanically minded and has experience operating heavy machinery.
