Moutere Logging is a family-owned forest harvesting company based in Brightwater, with crews operating throughout the top of the South Island and the lower North Island. We are looking to fulfil a unique role as an experienced and capable Mechanical Logger at our crew in the Kaweka Forest area. This role is ideal for someone who can confidently operate forestry machinery and is also mechanically minded – preferably with a mechanical trade qualification or strong hands-on experience in servicing and repairing machinery. You will be involved in day-to-day production, basic diagnostics, and preventative maintenance on machines, helping to keep the crew running efficiently and safely. Preference will be given to applicants with a can-do attitude, a strong commitment to logging, and proven mechanical practicality. We offer competitive and negotiable rates for the right person.
