Skills & Experience – Civil Construction Project Engineer Roles Relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering or a similar discipline (BE, BEngTech, DE or equivalent). Previous experience in project engineering, site engineering, or a related civil construction environment highly regarded. Strong knowledge of civil construction processes, project management techniques, and New Zealand health & safety standards. Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and quality outcomes. Effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills, able to work across all levels and functions. Competency in relevant engineering software, project management tools, and proficiency with documentation and reporting. A full New Zealand driver’s licence is essential; familiarity with local codes, NZS standards, and environmental guidelines is advantageous.
