CNC Operator
We’re seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join a busy, well-established precision engineering workshop in Papakura, South Auckland.
This company delivers high-quality machining solutions across multiple industries, with capabilities spanning CNC and manual machining, turning, milling, and light fabrication.

Location: Papakura, South Auckland
Start date: Immediate
Pay rate: $30–$40 per hour (depending on experience, weekly pay)

What you’ll be doing:
- Setting up and operating CNC machines (milling and/or turning)
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Performing tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments
- Producing components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Conducting in-process and final quality checks
- Assisting with general workshop duties, including basic fitting or fabrication
- Meeting production deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail
What we’re looking for:
- Proven CNC operating experience (turning and/or milling)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong focus on accuracy and quality control
- Experience in general engineering environments (advantageous)
- Ability to work across varied jobs – from one-offs to batch production
- Reliable, good attitude, and strong work ethic
