Work alongside experienced crews in a strong health & safety environment * Work on essential water reticulation networks across Auckland * Career progression opportunities within the water industry * Work alongside experienced crews in a strong health & safety environment We're looking for experienced Water Technicians to join one of New Zealand's leading specialists within the Three Waters sector based in East Tamaki. Working across Auckland's water networks, you'll play an important role in maintaining and improving essential infrastructure that keeps communities running every day. This is a permanent opportunity with long-term career stability, hands-on role where no two days are the same. From new installations through to repairs and network maintenance, you'll be out in the field delivering critical work across water infrastructure projects while working within a supportive and experienced team. What you'll be doing: * Installing new water mains and service connections * Repairing water mains, service connections, and irrigation infrastructure * Responding to water quality issues and supporting network maintenance activities * Carrying out network flushing and helping maintain healthy water systems * Supporting planned and reactive maintenance activities across water infrastructure * Working safely and efficiently across a range of field environments What we need from you: * 5+ years' experience within the water industry or in a similar Water Serviceperson role * National Certificate in Water Reticulation Level 3 or 4 (or equivalent) * Strong commitment to health & safety practices * Willingness to participate in an on-call and standby roster * Physically fit and comfortable working in field-based environments * Able to work independently and as part of a team * Full Class 1 licence - essential Bonus points if you have: * Class 2 licence * Wheels, Tracks & Rollers endorsements * Experience across wider Three Waters infrastructure projects * Additional industry certifications or licences If you're an experienced Water Technician looking for a permanent role where your work directly impacts Auckland's infrastructure and communities — apply now.
