Engage in full service, diagnostics, and repairs across various bus systems * Nationwide positions available with leading public transport provider * Competitive Remuneration * Permanent full time positions with growth opportunities Diesel Technician - Public Transport Fleet We're looking for experienced Diesel/Heavy Automotive Technicians to join our team maintaining a modern public-transport bus fleet. This is a hands-on role suited to technicians who take pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working in a supportive team environment. What you'll be doing * Full service and maintenance across the fleet * Diagnostics, fault-finding and repair * Electrical and wiring repairs * Working across all areas of the bus, including engine, driveline, suspension, brakes, HVAC and electrical systems * Complete all repair work in line with compliance and road-safety requirements * Accurately record all service, repair, and diagnostic work in workshop systems What you'll bring * 3+ years' experience working on buses, heavy trucks, or heavy equipment * Experience working on buses an advantage * Trade qualification as a Diesel/Heavy Automotive Technician * Strong diagnostic ability and confidence working independently * A solid work ethic and commitment to safety * Ability to work well within a team environment * NZ Work Visa, NZ Residency, or NZ Citizenship If you're looking for a stable, long-term role in the public transport sector with opportunities to grow, we'd love to hear from you.
