Supportive team environment Auto Electrician Our client is a busy and well-established operation based in Central Auckland and is looking for an experienced Auto Electrician to join their workshop team. This is a hands-on role offering a variety of work across vehicle electrical systems and accessories. If you're a skilled fault-finder who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship, we'd like to hear from you. Location: Central Auckland, Auckland Start date: Immediate start Pay rate: Up to $40 per hour + KiwiSaver About the Role Working in a workshop environment, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of electrical systems and components. You'll work with modern diagnostic equipment and play an important role in ensuring vehicles and equipment are operating safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities - Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults - Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment - Fault-finding using diagnostic tools and testing equipment - Repairing wiring, lighting, charging, and starting systems - Installing cameras, GPS units, telematics, and other electrical accessories - Conducting preventative maintenance and inspections - Completing service reports and job documentation accurately - Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard What We're Looking For - Proven experience as an Auto Electrician - Strong electrical diagnostic and fault-finding skills - Experience working with vehicle electrical systems and equipment - Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics - Experience installing and repairing electrical systems and accessories - High attention to detail and pride in workmanship - Strong commitment to health and safety - Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team - Trade qualification advantageous, but experienced non-qualified candidates are encouraged to apply What's in It for You? - Weekly pay - Immediate start available - Supportive team environment - Variety of workshop-based work - Potential for ongoing work About Tradestaff Tradestaff is one of New Zealand's leading recruitment companies, connecting skilled workers with great employers across the country.
