The Opportunity: TW Aggregates is on the hunt for skilled Quarry Operators to join our growing team! This role is hands-on with heavy machinery—extracting, sorting, and processing top-quality aggregates. As a Quarry Operator, you will be responsible for: • Operate loaders, diggers, trucks, and other quarry machinery safely and efficiently • Extract and process materials from pits and stockpiles • Perform daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on plant and equipment • Assist with crushing and screening plant operations and upkeep • Monitor servicing schedules and report issues to the Quarry Foreman • Take part in daily pre-starts, hazard IDs, and toolbox meetings Qualifications, skills and experience: • 5+ years experience operating heavy machinery (excavators, loaders, trucks). • Current NZ Class 2 License (minimum requirement) with WTR endorsements. • Knowledge of alluvial extraction processes and environmental compliance. • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in variable conditions. • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. • Current First Aid Certificate.
