Specialised Services Group is a Multi-Disciplinary Civil Contractor who complete Earthworks, Irrigation, Engineering and Construction Projects through-out the central South Island. We are a diverse company with a wide range of works that we complete so variety and interesting challenges are assured. We have dedicated team of qualified staff specialising in each of our target fields which means there are opportunities to upskill if you’re interested. We are predominately based in the North Otago region and due to forward workload we are looking for an Experienced Multi Skilled Earthmover, Excavator Operator, or even a Drain Layer to join our team. About You We're looking for team players who can get stuck in and support the rest of the crew. We want experienced personnel with an eye for detail who are flexible, have a common-sense approach, can operate safely and look out for others and look after their gear. You Will Need * Excavator experience 3 to 5 years preferred. * Class 2 Licence with W,T,R (Class 4 or 5 and WTR preferred but we are prepared to assist with gaining Licences, training and upskilling). * To have a positive attitude, take pride in your work and be able to meet company/client expectations. * Be driven towards the presentation and maintenance of your machines * Have a strong work ethic with the ability to lead Jobs, work unsupervised or fit into a team environment as required. * A high regard toward safety with the ability to meet Health and Safety Standards and Follow Safe Work Practices and Industry Guidelines.
