Description

Project MTB with Bafang BBHD (1000 Watt 160 Nm torque) Kit with Extras. I built this bike for fun and it has been used on urban roads and trails. It is comfortable, reliable, stable and fast. It’s a going concern as it is or the mid drive could be re installed on another bike and the ML1 is a capable X country frame. All the components required to restore the ML1 frame back to a conventional 27 speed X country MTB are included BBHD 1000-watt Specs: Originally a Dillinger kit, see the link below for details and manuals. The controller has been programmed to bring the 160 Nm torque on gently and top speed is limited to 70 Kph. The USB cable can be used to re program the controller for more acceleration etc. Samsung battery 48-volt, range has never been an issue. There are not many E bikes around that could keep up with it especially hill climbs. https://dillengerelectricbikes.co.nz/products/bbs-hd1000-bafang-mid-drive-kit Current pricing for the kit would be $2482 and the extra bracket from California bike cost about $100 to land in NZ In addition: Tools for the bottom bracket. Leckie 46T Bling Ring. The Leckie ring solves a perennial problem with the BBHD original chain ring whereby the chain would skip and regularly fall off. 100% reliable with the Leckie ring. Torque Bracket which stops the motor rotating in the bottom bracket by bracing it to the frame. 160nM torque is too much IMO without this bracket. Brake sensors – not currently installed Gear sensor – cuts power to the drive during gear changes. Battery is Samsung 48 volt - 11.6AH in good order. It is removable from the frame by key lock Frame: Titus ML1 – medium cross-country bike. I am 1.78 tall 90 Kg – it could easily take taller or smaller. Rear / Front Shock both working well: Fox Float RP2 / Marzoki – 125mm travel (I think) Brakes: Sram Code, 203 mm front rotor. Rear 160mm needs a bleed currently not working. I prefer pick up but will assist a buyer with packaging and dispatch as long as the buyer arranges it.
