Our work is in the Auckland Metro region, covering the full range of road corridor maintenance, hand laid asphalt surfacing, concrete footpaths, kerb & channel upgrades, Subdivisions and all other associated civil construction activities. With ongoing growth, we are actively recruiting for Six (6) Road Maintenance Workers to be part of our team, who will be delivering road maintenance activities across the wider Auckland region. Key duties and responsibilities • Attending to emergency response on the local and motorway roading network • Replacing signs • Picking up litter on the side of the motorways • Weed Eating • Landscaping • Mowing • Maintenance repairs – pothole repairs • Vegetation removal • Driving crew truck from yard to the various sites • Undertaking traffic management duties Attributes & Skills Required; • Positive can-do attitude • Good people and leadership qualities • Reliable & Agile • Class 1,2 drivers license • 1-2 years truck driving experience and also experience in driving manual gear box. • Relevant temporary traffic management training as work is on the roads • Ability to take initiative and work independently • Able to work Monday – Saturday and nightshift from Sunday - Thursday.
