We have an exciting major project in Palmerston North (Tararua Range), requiring Mechanical Fitters or Mechanical Riggers appointed on a fixed term contract. Essentially, we are looking for individuals that are skillful with a spanner, can follow detailed instructions and have experience working at heights in a high hazard environment. This role will be fixed term starting End-January/early February and may run through to end of April 2026. Hours will be 7:00am-5:30pm with a high degree of flexibility. About the Role * Ensure mechanical components are disassembled safely * Assemble rigging equipment * Erect and dismantle structural steel lifting frames * Unbolt bolt components * Set up mechanical rigging equipment * Use mechanical hand and power tolls What you'll need to succeed * Hold a relevant Wind farm trade GWO certification.
