Focus on safety, quality, and streamlined production TWC are on the hunt for a Drainage / Civil Labour team member to work with our teams on our drainage and civil infrastructure projects. About You: TWC invest in team training, competency, and skills, it is important that you meet the following minimum required experience: • 2 years’ experience in similar position (drainage team or Civil infrastructure) • Full NZ Class 1 driver’s licence • Ability to work as part of a team • Have a can-do, positive attitude • Maintain a safe work site Want to progress your career, want to be a certified drainlayer? • You must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test • NZ Resident We do not cut corners of any type (safety, quality, production) on our projects – it’s important that you have the same mindset. This is a permanent, full-time role. You will be working with pipe ranging from 225mm to 1800mm, supported by GPS-equipped excavators, highly experienced operators, and a site-based supervisor to ensure the work is programmed and streamlined. Your role will include the following activities: • Above trench site safety and keeping it tidy • Concrete cutting • Having the gear ready for use, and pipe ready to be installed • Great communication between the drainlayer and the excavator operators Your hours of work: • Hours of work are 40–50 per week, with a minimum of 40 hours guaranteed worked across Monday to Friday inclusive. • This role is primarily Auckland-based, with travel from time to time into the Waikato region.
