You'll need to be flexible, this role can mean 12-hour days, night shifts, and travel/stay-aways around the North Island. Weekly hours range from 40 to 70 depending on the workload. In addition to the above you will: * Have experience operating and maintaining chip seal machinery. * Undergo Daily pre-start checks, safety first, always. * Safely operate a bitumen sprayer and class 5 truck, you will know your stuff behind the wheel. * Pitching in with the team to get the job done, safely and efficiently. **To be successful in this role, you will:** * A clean, full class 5 license and W, T, R & DG endorsements. * Experience in chip sealing and road construction machinery. * A keen eye for detail and pride in your work.
