Support renovation and improvement projects Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician Tamanu Beach, a small family-owned resort, on the Island of Aitutaki in the Cook Islands, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure our facilities remain safe, functional and well maintained. We seek a technician with a comprehensive understanding of both refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine inspections and perform maintenance on our refrigeration and air conditioning units as well as general maintenance work around the resort. Respond promptly to maintenance requests, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently. Uphold health and safety standards. Support renovation and improvement projects as needed. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. Qualifications Required: Proven experience in facility maintenance, preferably in the hospitality industry (at least 3 years in resort / hotels). Comprehensive understanding of air conditioning and refrigeration systems Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively Good communication skills and a team player Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed Valid drivers license is a plus
