About us: Rayglass Boats, New Zealand’s leading fiberglass powerboat builder. Our primary focus is on all things Rayglass—from bow to stern, helm to prop. We’re passionate about our craft and take pride in going the extra mile to turn the impossible into reality for our customers. About the Role: We are looking for experienced Laminators and/or Chopper Gun Operators to join our team in Takanini. The role is responsible for laminating both Rayglass Legend and Protector model boats and their components. Key Responsibilities: * Waxing and preparing molds * Gelcoat application, by Venus applicator or brush * Fiberglass application, by Venus Chopper Gun, or hand lamination * Sanding / grinding finished laminates * Demolding fibreglass components What we are looking for: * Proven experience as a Fiberglass Laminator or Chopper Gun Operator is preferred * You must be physically fit and able to handle physical tasks involving lifting and holding materials * Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety * Have strong teamwork and communication skills Position Details: * Full-time, Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM * Seasonal overtime may be required * Paying between $25 - $35/hr depending on the level of experience you bring Why Rayglass Boats? * Amazing brand, with great products * High performing team * Competitive wages * Great working culture * Training and development opportunities If you’re ready to contribute to the creation of world-class boats and grow your skills, we’d love to hear from you!
