Based in Auckland and reporting to the National Sales Director for Trade Me Jobs you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business from direct employers and recruitment agencies. This is a pivotal role in driving the next phase of our growth, cementing our position as New Zealand's leading employment platform for Hands on Workers and capturing untapped market share and building lasting commercial relationships. **Here is what you can expect from this role:** * To develop and execute a highly effective business development strategy to target and acquire key accounts from direct employers and recruitment agencies * To continue industry thought leadership and to remain a trusted, strategic partner utilising your deep market knowledge and extensive networks * Build a sustainable pipeline of high-value opportunities * Work closely with and make recommendations to the Senior Leadership team with insights on market trends, competitive threats and new opportunities * Leverage your seniority within the sales team, share your expertise and contribute to the team's success **What you will bring to our team:** * A substantial amount of recruitment industry experience is a prerequisite for this role - you are known for your strategic and commercial acumen - NZ industry experience is required * An exceptional ability to clearly articulate a business proposition and influence senior and executive decision-makers * Leadership and autonomy - you'll have proven leadership capability and be able to build strong collaborative relationships within Trade Me and from your industry networks * A minimum of 5 years of senior business development experience, with a track record of consistently exceeding sales targets * A well-established professional network across New Zealand, with strong connections within corporate HR, Talent Acquisition teams and recruitment agencies **You'll have the best time working at Trade Me, and this is why:** **#Flexibility:** Flexibility means different things to different people and we support you to find what works, including a home office set up and utilities allowance.
