We operate in a diverse range of industries that people need to live and work – including dairy and food, beverage, water, chemical, pharmaceutical, transport and energy.  About the Role:We’re looking for a Production Manager to lead our workshop operations and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is key to planning production layout for one off large fabrication projects, through to repeat fabrication projects.  You will have experience in gaining efficiencies, leading safety, and leading improvement ideas. Key Responsibilities:Manage and mentor fabrication team leaders ensuring they have clear expectations for project delivery, daily performance, this includes leading the workshop culture, including quality standards and safe working practices.Facilitate communication between Projects, Design, and Workshop teams to avoid delays.Oversee daily and weekly production meetings, schedules, and progress reporting.Plan and optimise the layout and production of projects within the workshop, coordinating fabrication sequences, space allocation, and equipment use with timing and resource requirements.Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and promote safe working practices.Monitor quality control processes and maintain documentation to meet project standards.Drive staff development, training, and competency management, including apprenticeships. What We’re Looking For:Production planning / layout experience in fabrication environmentStrong leadership and team management experience in a workshop or fabrication environmentExcellent planning and organisational skills with a focus on efficiency and problem-solvingFabrication trade background or Engineering Degree with practical application Why Join Us?Be part of a collaborative team where your leadership will directly impact project success and operational excellence.
