Trade Assist is seeking an experienced Yard Hand / Forklift Driver with 12t Forklift Experience to join a leading engineering and infrastructure company based in Whenuapai! This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for safely moving heavy materials, loading and unloading equipment, and supporting daily yard operations. We're looking for someone confident operating large forklifts, reliable, and safety focused. What's On Offer: * $25-$28 p/hr depending on experience + Weekly Pay! * Monday - Friday hours! * All PPE Provided! * Long-term opportunity with a well-established company * Supportive team environment * Workshop based in Whenuapai, Auckland Your Responsibilities: * Operate a 12-tonne forklift safely and efficiently * Load, unload, and move heavy materials and equipment around the yard * Assist with general yard duties and equipment organisation * Complete pre-start checks and maintain forklift safety standards * Work closely with the team to ensure smooth daily operations About You: * Valid forklift licence with experience operating 12T forklifts * Previous yard, warehouse, or heavy industry experience preferred * Strong understanding of health and safety practices * Reliable, physically fit, and able to work in a fast-paced environment * Current driver's licence required * NZ resident or valid work visa Please note - It is a requirement that applicants are able to provide a clean drug and alcohol test result before commencing work with us.
