As part of a maintenance crew, you'll be involved in a mix of tasks including: * General road maintenance: guard rail repairs, pothole repairs * Litter collection * Mowing using John Deere mowers or tractors * Soft landscaping: pruning, hedging * Spraying for weed control * Weed eating This role involves travelling across different Auckland locations. You'll start and finish each day at the Mt Wellington, West Auckland yard. Night shift: 7:30pm-4:30pm (hours tbc but this is the standard night shift) Skills & Experience * Full Class 1 licence (required) * Class 2 (desirable) * Experience in litter collection, spraying, traffic control, or weed eating (advantageous) * Good physical fitness and comfort working outdoors About the Company Join a joint venture between two of New Zealand's largest civil contractors, working at the heart of Auckland's motorway maintenance network.
