Trade Assist is seeking an Electroplater to join a busy workshop with one of NZ's leading engineering companies based in Penrose! This is a hands-on role where you'll be working with specialised plating processes, so we're looking for someone who is detail-focused, follows processes well, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. Your Responsibilities: * Assist with electroplating processes to coat and finish metal components * Prepare, clean, and handle parts before and after plating * Operate plating equipment and follow chemical handling procedures safely * Follow job instructions, specifications, and quality standards * Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment+ About You: * Good understanding and basic Chemistry knowledge * Workshop, labouring, or manufacturing experience preferred * Comfortable working with hands and following detailed processes * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality * Health and safety conscious with a willingness to learn * NZ resident or valid work visa and able to complete the competency assessment Please note - It is a requirement that applicants are able to provide a clean drug and alcohol test result before commencing work with us.
