This project encompasses all aspects of first and second fix carpentry, including windows, doors, installing hardware, and all things residential carpentry. Our client is a large South Island construction company with a substantial forward workload. What's In It For You: * Start 5th January * Wages: $32.00 - $34.00 depending on experience; contracting rates negotiable * Long Term Work * Experienced Leadhands & Forepersons on site! What You Will Be Doing: * Perform high-quality carpentry work with a strong focus on detail and precision. * Ensure the use of PPE at all times, including glasses and gloves. * Be present for pre-start meetings at 7:15 AM and have tools started and working by 7:30 AM daily. * Follow construction processes as set out by forepersons. * Use all carpentry tools proficiently and work comfortably from a scaffold. What We Require: * Proven experience in residential carpentry minimum 5 years. * Full set of carpentry tools, including a nail gun. * Understanding of the NZ building code * Strong attention to detail and a strong commitment to H&S * Valid Site safe passport - we can assist with this * Reliable transport * Ability to pass pre-employment Drug test If you are a skilled carpenter or hammerhand looking for a long-term opportunity in Blenheim and meet the above requirements, we would love to hear from you.
