Collaborative team environment The Pallet Company is one of New Zealand’s largest manufacturers of wooden pallets, bins and crates. We currently have two manufacturing sites in Auckland and Napier. Our Napier branch requires the services of a Supply Chain Co-ordinator. This role supports operational managers to deliver customer orders in full and on time. It coordinates planning to ensure production schedules are efficiently executed and customer requirements are met. The supply chain aspect of the role involves coordination with raw material suppliers and logistics partners. Building strong relationships with customers and ensuring effective communication are key parts to the role. The responsibilities include: 1. Planning and scheduling: Develop schedules based on customer needs, update daily progress and calculate material quantities. 2. Effective communication: Ensure all customers are kept informed on their orders, answer all queries promptly, follow up with suppliers and update new requests. 3. Transport and invoicing: Procure materials, coordinate transport, complete documentation / paperwork and finalise invoicing accurately. 4. Coordinate and maintain MYOB information: Coordinate with Auckland office, process orders in MYOB, add new codes and pass on requests for quotes. 5. Cut list information and quality checks: Ensure the cut list file is maintained, create cut lists for new quotes and do quality checks. 6. Reporting: Compile site performance statistics, prepare monthly reports, and update team performance graphs. Skills and knowledge • Accurate data input and complete administrative tasks • Strong working knowledge of business systems and the Microsoft package • Experience in a production and supply chain environment • Strong communication and co-ordination skills • Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment • Excellent collaboration skills and be an effective team member If you are looking to part of a collaborative team, please apply!
