Summary: This role involves managing traffic on roading and construction sites, leading safety operations, supervising crews, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Highlights: 1. Lead on-road safety and traffic control operations 2. Supervise on-site crews and conduct safety checks 3. Enforce health and safety regulations and monitor hazards **ROLE: STMS Roading and Construction Sites, Class 1 or 2 Driving Licence.** **ABOUT THE ROLE:** * Required a current STMS qualification (STMS Cat A/B). * Site Setup: Transporting and installing signs, cones, and safety barriers according to an approved Traffic Management Plan (TMP). * Traffic Control: Leading on-road safety, setting up Stop/Go operations, and making real-time, risk-based decisions to manage live traffic flow. * Crew Supervision: Briefing on-site crews, conducting toolbox talks, and leading safety checks. * Safety Management: Enforcing health and safety regulations, ensuring crew compliance, and monitoring hazards * Team Leadership: Briefing Traffic Controllers (TTMW), directing stop/go operations, and overseeing field crews. * Some Labouring and TTMW required working from back of TTM truck.
