About the Role This role is key to maintaining a secure and safe environment at a Data Centre. As a Security Concierge, you will provide access control, perform regular patrols, monitor CCTV, and manage alarm systems in this secure, non-public facility. What You'll Be Doing: Controlling site access and conducting regular patrols of internal and external areas Monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, including fire and fire suppression systems Acting as a Fire Warden and following site-specific health & safety protocols Reporting and documenting any unusual, suspicious, or non-compliant activity Maintaining confidentiality and protecting the client's staff, assets, and privacy Adhering to First Security's Standard Operating Procedures and site regulations Ensuring your own safety and that of others by identifying and reporting hazards What We're Looking For: Current Certificate of Approval (COA) with class PRG-Property Guard under the PSPLA (essential) Valid NZ driver's license and reliable transport (essential) Previous security or surveillance experience (desirable) Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions in challenging situations (essential) Strong focus and concentration during quiet periods (essential) Proficient computer skills for reporting and communication (essential) Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays (essential) Good spoken and written English communication skills (essential) Non-smoker (site is smoke-free) Why Join FIRST Security?
