On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will include: * Install forms, foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs * Fit and install window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, drywall, interior and exterior trim * Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, power tools, and other machines * Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine project layout, dimensions, and materials required * Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools * Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or props, using appropriate tools and materials * Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace as needed * Communicate progress, delays, or problems to the Leading Hand or Supervisor We expect you to take pride in your work, pay attention to detail, and complete tasks to a high standard within required timeframes. You'll be expected to communicate clearly with your supervisor, take responsibility for your duties, and work well as part of a team. Minimum Experience Required: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Carpenter, carrying out typical new construction, repair, or maintenance duties, or hold a trade qualification or higher.
