We are looking to recruit a Quality Control supervisor to supervise a small and efficient team of QC staff and manage the day to day regulatory requirements for food safety and micro testing regimes in accordance with export market, customer and local standards. Some experience in any of the following would be an advantage but not essential, • HACCP based Risk Management Programme • Computer literacy in word and excel. • Auditing and verification experience. • Supervisory skills. • People and communication skills. • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised. • Ability to set targets and achieve outcomes. • Good time management and work practises. • Able to maintain stock rotation and ordering of chemicals and packaging. As part of the team you will be responsible for a wide range of compliance related activities as well as conducting internal audits and participating in external audits along with the QA Manager.
