Experienced Design & Build Consultant Wanted Join Ultimate Builders – Where High Performers Thrive Are you an experienced Design & Build Consultant looking for the next step in your career? Ultimate Builders is seeking a driven, relationship-focused professional to join our high-performing team in the Waipa / Matamata /South Waikato Region. This is not an entry-level role. We’re after someone who knows the industry, understands new home design, is familiar with the sales process, and backs themselves to close deals. What We’re Looking For * Proven results and experience in design & build, residential new home sales, or a directly related field. * Driven and self*motivated – willing to go the extra mile for a sale. * Confident in client consultations – whether in a show home or a client’s living room. * Pick up the phone and start a conversation – Relationship building is key! * Solutions*focused mindset – Think outside the square to help clients. * Honest, open communication – No pushy sales tactics here. * Team player – Go beyond the job description when needed. * Attention to detail – Keep accurate notes and follow*ups. * Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools to stay on top of leads. * Based in Matamata, Cambridge, Putaruru (or nearby areas) for efficient travel across our core regions. * Available to work Thursday to Monday, with two weekends out of three (weekdays off in lieu). * An added bonus is that you have council planning, design, drafting or architectural experience. What You’ll Be Doing * Managing client enquiries from first contact through to signed contracts. * Delivering tailored design & build solutions on both client*owned land and our developments. * Meeting clients in show homes, on*site, and in their own homes where required. * Building strong, trust*based relationships * Providing design solutions that fit budgets and lifestyles. * Driving sales activity with energy, persistence, and professionalism.
