CARTERS Cambridge is seeking an Inwards Goods/CSR to join their busy team. In this role you will be responsible to thoroughly check, receipt and accurately record all inwards goods movements into the branch in a timely manner. Your versatility is essential in this role as you also will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to our building trade customers in the timber yard and showroom. The ideal candidate will also be able to operate a forklift to load and unload deliveries when needed. You'll be the perfect fit for this role if you thrive on accuracy and efficiency of information and processes as you: * Conduct detailed inspections and accurately document all incoming goods, ensuring precise barcoding and pricing records are maintained. * Sustain inventory levels, ensure seamless stock replenishment, conduct daily audits of stock receipts and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure adequate supplies are available. * Provide top-notch customer service by identifying the right products efficiently, assembling and loading customer orders and processing sales documentation * Recommend suitable products, tailored to customer preferences. About you As well as your commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, you will have the following skills, qualities, and certifications: * Valid FULL NZ Driver's License is Essential * Forklift F Endorsed Licence with OSH Certificate is desirable * Physically fit * Someone who values teamwork and approaches tasks with a positive mindset * Attention to detail and accurate data entry * Capable in navigating computer systems with a firm grasp of technology * Building industry knowledge is advantageous.
