Competitive salary and great work environment We are seeking an experienced and dependable Storeman to become a key member of our Builtsmart team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a successful Waikato based building company. The environment is fast paced, challenging and rewarding. The role will suit someone with drive, initiative, good computer skills, ability to work unsupervised and excellent communication skills. Key Duties include: • Unloading goods on arrival and inspection of goods for damages • Checking goods received against orders • Computer data entry in Builtsmart’s document control system • Maintaining accurate inventory records and undertaking physical stock counts • Stocking and stacking of shelves and bulk goods safely • Preparation of accurate pickings for jobs ready for delivery to construction bays • Collection of un-used goods and placement back into Builtsmart’s stores • Maintenance of all areas that have stock and brought in goods • Monitoring and maintaining Builtsmart’s Health & Safety policies and procedures Key Attributes: • Qualifications or previous experience in stores administration and inventory management • Good level of physical fitness • Current Forklift license • Excellent communication and people skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Strong work ethic and attention to detail We will provide: • A great work environment • A competitive salary • Support and training
