We’ve got an exciting Power Systems Technician role just for you! In this position, you’ll get to provide specialist technical power systems and electricity protection, making a real impact. • Perform testing, commissioning, and maintenance of protection relays • Carry out secondary injection and functional testing of protection and control systems • Inspect and test instrument transformers (CTs/VTs) • Maintain, test, and fault-find on switchboard control circuits, interlocks, trip circuits, and auxiliary systems • Use and maintain specialist test equipment (secondary injection kits, relay test sets, insulation testers, multimeters) • Understand and comply with your obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and all associated regulations, standards, and approved codes of practice • Understand and comply with all Omexom health and safety policies and procedures. Qualifications and Skills • A tertiary qualification at a polytechnic diploma level is required. • Hands-on experience in power systems and electrical protection work to industry standards. • A thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements.
