Class 2 Hydrovac Driver - Wellington About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Class 2 Hydrovac Driver to join our team in Wellington. In this role, you will perform hydro excavation tasks safely and efficiently while representing Remarkable People with professionalism and care. This role will be 80% labouring and 20% driving. The right candidate must be fit and healthy and prepared to support with manual labour each day. Key Responsibilities: - Safely operate and manoeuvre a Class 2 hydrovac vehicle equipped with a Road Ranger gearbox, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. - Perform hydro excavation duties on civil sites, including safe digging and material removal, with a focus on 3 waters knowledge where applicable. - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety. Assist with on-site labouring tasks, demonstrating physical fitness and a willingness to contribute to team efforts. - Provide outstanding customer service and collaborate effectively on civil projects. What we're looking for: * A valid and clean Class 2 driver's licence with over 1 year of experience * Excellent driving and navigation skills. * Reliable, punctual and able to work independently. * Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and police check.
