Agile role in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Parks Garage is family owned and operated and has grown to become one of NZ’s largest specialist towing operator. We are Canterbury’s oldest and most trusted towing company and have been servicing the South Island for over 100 years. Our Wellington depot extends our reach and range of services into the North Island. Role Description • Operational leadership and management across the Wellington Region. • Use your planning and management skills to set rosters that meet operational demands. • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. • Work with the General Manager to implement the business growth plan. • Recruit, train, lead, and motivate a team of employees to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve the branch goals. • Monitor and analyse the operational performance against budget targets. • Plan and oversee the fleet maintenance programmes. • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and our safety standards. Role Requirements • Strong leadership and decision-making skills. • Excellent people management skills with a good understanding of HR and health and safety. • The ability to build relationships and further the business development across the region. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ideally you will have a transport background, including a Class 2 licence. • Ability to motivate, inspire and empower a team for success. • Have an agile approach, suited to working in what is a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
