With a strong reputation for reliability and customer satisfaction, we are expanding our team and looking for a skilled Class 4 Furniture Driver & Mover to join us. We offer a full service for our commercial customers, from freight to delivery, install and clearance of existing. We also service the residential market with house moves. With this comes variation of work and opportunities to learn and grow. The Role: As a Class 4 Furniture Driver & Mover, you will be responsible for transporting and handling furniture safely, ensuring timely deliveries, and exceptional customer service. This is a physical role that involves both driving and manual handling of furniture and related freight. This role is in a team who services the Wellington region for business and residential relocations and also on furniture freight runs nationwide. Key Responsibilities: * Safely operate a Class 4 vehicle in compliance with all road and safety regulations. * Load, unload, and transport furniture and related goods to various locations. * Stow a truck to ensure optimal capacity and safe transportation of office furniture. * Work in a team to efficiently complete relocations in both the commercial and residential space to an excellent standard. * Ensure all items are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition. * Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and team members to ensure smooth furniture relocation services. * Complete administration tasks including pick up and delivery confirmations and vehicle checks. * Adhere to company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations. Requirements: * Valid Full Class 4 driving licence. * Previous experience in furniture removals, freight, or logistics is desirable. * Good level of physical fitness and strength. * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Flexible approach to working hours, including early starts, late finishes and weekends as required. * Must be able to travel and drive on 1-2 night freight runs. * A positive, proactive and hard-working attitude. * Proficient in using job management and time sheeting software. * Tidy and presentable What We Offer: * Competitive pay. * Supportive and friendly team environment. * Career progression within a growing company.
