Contribute to a positive and productive site culture We're looking for experienced **Structural / Formwork Carpenters** with **essential large‑scale bridge construction experience** to join crews delivering major civil infrastructure projects shaping Wellington's future. What You'll Be Doing: * Carry out structural and formwork carpentry on large‑scale bridge projects * Build, install and strip complex formwork systems * Work accurately from plans, drawings and specifications * Support concrete pours and structural works to programme requirements * Work closely with forepersons, engineers and site teams * Ensure all work meets quality standards and health & safety requirements * Maintain a safe, tidy and well‑organised work area * Contribute to a positive and productive site culture What You Need: * **Proven experience as a Structural / Formwork Carpenter on large‑scale bridge projects (essential)** * Strong formwork, falsework and concrete carpentry skills * Ability to confidently read and interpret construction drawings * Solid understanding of health and safety on major infrastructure sites * Reliable, motivated and able to work well within a team * Valid Class 1 driver licence (preferred) * Experience on complex or major civil infrastructure projects What's in It for You: * Competitive hourly rates based on experience and capability * Weekly pay + holiday pay + KiwiSaver * PPE provided and ongoing support from the AWF team * Long‑term opportunities with reputable civil contractors * Career progression on some of Wellington's most significant bridge projects Apply now and make your mark on major improvements across Wellington.
