We’ve got an exciting Engineer role in our Customer Delivery Team just for you! In this position, you’ll get to provide technically appropriate and cost-effective drawings, specifications, reports, engineering investigations and solutions to meet practical construction and/or tendering requirements, making a real impact. Principal Accountabilities • Prepare clear, accurate, and high‑quality technical documentation in line with established engineering best practice. • Coordinate all engineering activities across assigned projects in compliance with the Omexom ISO 9001 Quality Management System and Design Control Procedure QM19. • Review engineering outputs, ensuring technical integrity, compliance, and alignment with project requirements. • Lead conceptual design work and support bid teams by presenting technical concepts and solutions to prospective clients. • Provide technical guidance and support to estimators, maintenance teams, construction personnel, subcontractors, and project managers. • Oversee the technical aspects of procurement and subcontracting activities as required. • Conduct and/or supervise technical testing and commissioning activities to ensure safe and successful project delivery. • Manage engineering elements of projects within agreed budgets, schedules, and technical performance standards. • Build and maintain strong working relationships with network and asset owners, principal contractors, and key industry stakeholders. • Monitor and contribute to technical developments relevant to Omexom’s activities, supporting continuous improvement and innovation Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering. • Proven experience in engineering design within the Electrical Power Sector, including Industrial, Transmission, and/or Distribution environments. • Demonstrated aptitude and hands‑on experience in electrical engineering design. • Strong understanding of industry standards, technical requirements, procedures, and product-related considerations within the power sector. • Well‑developed analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex technical issues and develop effective solutions. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear documentation and engage effectively with stakeholders.
