We are currently seeking to employ a Faultman to our Reactive Services Business Unit team based in Upper Hutt. • Based in Upper Hutt. • Attractive Staff Benefits • Great Earning Potential • Be a part of a Great Team • Full-time, Permanent contract with a minimum of 40 hours guaranteed per week About the Role The successful candidates will work on key responsibilities like: • Responding to, assessing and attending to all assigned service requests within service levels. • Performing high voltage switching and isolation of plant. • Carrying out repair and maintenance work to Omexom and customer standards. • Identifying and reporting any unscheduled work to enable recording of network equipment that is not safe or functional. • Ensuring that vehicles and allocated equipment are well presented and maintained. • Working to achieve key performance indicators (KPI’s) and Omexom operational and quality processes. Qualifications and Skills • Qualified and registered line mechanic. • Switching training and experience. • Heavy vehicle licence (minimum requirement class 2). • Desirable to have recently held faultman network warrants and Transpower switching.
