Oversee efficient movement of goods from production to delivery Our client is seeking a Senior Warehouse Manager to lead their East Tamaki operations and drive excellence across all aspects of warehousing, logistics, and team performance. About the roleIn this hands-on leadership position, you'll oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods from production through to customer delivery. You'll lead a skilled team, maintain high standards of safety and quality, and continuously look for ways to improve efficiency within a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment. Location: East Tamaki, New ZealandPay Rate: $35 per hourWork days: Monday to Friday (occasional weekend work may be required)Duration: 10 weeks temp assignment Key Responsibilities * Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, inventory accuracy, and dispatch efficiency * Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse and logistics staff * Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, food safety, and quality standards * Manage warehouse budgets, reporting, and KPI performance * Work collaboratively with production, customer service, and supply chain teams * Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes and systems About You * Proven experience in a senior warehouse or logistics leadership role (ideally within FMCG, food, or manufacturing) * Strong understanding of inventory control, warehousing systems, and health & safety compliance * A people-focused leader who can build capability and foster a positive, high-performing culture * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills * Forklift licence and/or understanding of warehouse automation systems would be advantageous Ideal Applicants Must * Be available Monday to Friday (occasional weekend work) * Have reliable transport * Pass a pre-employment drug test * Return a clean criminal background check * Be eligible to work in New Zealand Please apply online with your current CV if you are interested!
