Ongoing training and career progression opportunities * Permanent role available * Competitive salary/ perks * Work for a national civil company We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established civil construction company based in Wellington, who are looking for an experienced STMS to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a great opportunity to secure long-term work with a reputable company delivering a range of civil projects across the Wellington region. You'll be responsible for: * Setting up, maintaining, and dismantling Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) * Ensuring all sites are compliant with CoPTTM standards * Preparing and implementing Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) * Leading crews on-site and ensuring safe work practices * Liaising with site supervisors, contractors, and the public * Responding to on-site issues and making real-time decisions to maintain safety What We're Looking For * Current STMS qualification (L1/L2/L3 - please specify on application) * Solid experience working on civil construction sites * Strong knowledge of CoPTTM * Full Class 1 licence (Class 2 a bonus) * Confident communicator with leadership capability * Reliable, safety-focused, and professional attitude What's On Offer * Permanent role with consistent hours * Competitive hourly rate + overtime where applicable * Work with a respected civil contractor * Ongoing training and career progression opportunities * Supportive team and strong safety culture If you're an experienced STMS looking for stability and a long-term career in the Wellington civil sector, we'd love to hear from you.
